Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed; save me and I shall be saved: for thou art my praise. Jeremiah 17:14 What does this scripture mean? The prophet Jeremiah is praying and asking God to heal him and save him. When God does something we know He does it perfectly. The prophet had to humble himself to ask God to do this for him and expect God’s favor and blessing of saving him and delivering him from sickness.

The just will come out of trouble because provided they follow God’s way out. What is God’s way out? What is God’s will for our lives? God’s will is for us to know Him first of all and His Son Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. Then God wants us to serve Him with all our hearts, mind and soul and love our neighbor as we love ourselves. After this He wants us to find out what our purpose is here on earth and why He created us. Each and every one of us are special and we all have our purpose in this life. When our lives line up with God’s will, we will be blessed and prosperous which is what God our Father desires for us.
We want to keep the light of God in us by reading and doing His Word. Jesus said,”I am the light of the world, He that followes me shall not walk in darkness but have the light of life.” We also want to be shining and burning lights for Jesus and can do this by witnessing to others and continuing to walk uprightly and be excellent examples of Jesus.
A continuous outpouring of the Holy Spirit makes us pliable in the hand of God which causes us to be used by the Lord if we don’t resist Him. When you spend time ministering to the Lord, you will receive the blessing of the Holy Spirit outpouring. So seek Him today and receive His blessings.
In John 6:63 we read that Jesus said,”It is the spirit that quickeneth: the flesh profiteth nothing: the words I speak unto you, they are spirit and they are life.” Jesus said this to let us know that the Word of God is a living Word that will quicken you and give you life. So read your Bible and be quickened by the Holy Spirit and be renewed.
How do we receive God’s goodness? We receive His goodness by humility of heart and walking humbly with Him as we decrease and let Him increase in our life. John 3:30 says,”He must increase, but I must decrease.” So lets continue to walk humbly.
The Lord is the helper of those who call upon Him in sincerity and in truth and He will not despise them. Reach out to Him and He will answer your prayers and make himself real to you. You will then have the intimacy with the Lord as He makes Himself real to you.
When the enemy is trying to defeat you, keep praising and blessing the Lord. The praises will break down the wall of oppression that is oppressing you. Sing to the Lord the songs that He puts on your heart and continue to sing till your breakthrough comes.
