When Jesus was done ministering to the people He said to His disciples, “Let us pass over unto the other side.” A storm arose just as it does sometimes in our lives when we obey the Lord. However, there is no storm that comes our way that Jesus cannot calm. Jesus is our shield and our shelter and never doubt Him. You are always safe in His arms. Mark 4:35-41
The Holy Spirit is your sweet comforter who requires us to obey Him. He gives us His instructions and we willingly submit to His authority and obey to bring glory and honor to Jesus and our heavenly Father. So lets not disappoint Him and surrender reaping the rewards.
Jesus said “I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.” John 8:12 So lets ask ourselves how do we follow Jesus? We follow Jesus by saying what he tells us to say and doing what he tells us to do all by the help of the Holy Spirit. When we willingly obey him we receive more light in this dark world and will continue walking in the light.
In Psalm 102:17 we read that “God himself will regard the prayer of the destitute, and not despise their prayer.” Never give up on praying for yourself or your family, and others that the Lord places on your heart to pray for. The prayers of the righteous avail much and God in His perfect timing will answer your prayers. So be encouraged and press on in Him.
The Psalmist admonishes us that we should taste and see the goodness of the Lord. This is a reward to the willing obedient who follow the instructions of the Holy Spirit which leads us to have intimacy with the Holy Spirit and to never depart from Him. So we need to cleave to the Holy Spirit and never let Him go.
Great grace is to those who love the Lord and nothing shall cause them to stumble. So as you continue in the Fear of the Lord, and walk in humbleness of mind, you will continue to receive God’s greater goodness which will transform you and change others who come in contact with you through the power of the Holy Spirit.
In Mark 16:3-4 we see that the stone was rolled away from Jesus tomb and he was not there because he had risen from the dead. Are there any stones in your life that you need rolled away? Jesus rose and gave us victory over death and the grave so that we could have eternal life. I pray now that every obstacle in your pathway that is holding you back is rolled away now in Jesus name and you are free to go forward. Amen!
In 2 Corinthians 4:14 we read,”Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present us with you.” When we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior we are brought back to life, because He gives us life and life more abundantly. When the enemy has us before we are saved we are dead because of sin and trespasses we have committed. Living for Jesus raises us up so we can have eternal life with Him forever!
