When the Wind Seems to be Taken Out of Your Sail, Turn to Jesus!

When the wind seems to be taken out of your sail, turn to Jesus, He is your very present help in a time of need.  His Word says He will never leave you nor forsake you. He is the only one that can deliver you from whatever situation you are going through as He has made the ultimate sacrifice of His life for yours. Jesus has given us a way back to the Father’s love and comfort by standing in the gap for us and shedding His blood on the cross. So if you do not know Jesus, turn to Him now and say Jesus, I am sorry for my sins, come into my heart and save me and make me your child, I believe you are the Son of God who died on the cross for my sins and rose again on the third day.  Thank  you Jesus for saving me, healing me, and delivering me right now from everything I need to be delivered from. Amen. So if you prayed that prayer you are Born again and the Angels in Heaven are rejoicing for you are back in the loving care of Father God.

See yourself The Way God Sees You

God sees you bigger, better and brighter than you see yourself! Take the limits off of God today. He’s not limited by your past mistakes or the people who you know or don’t know. He’s only limited by your faith and lack of willingness to have a Holy Spirit make-over.

Today, say this prayer out loud “Jesus I choose to see myself the way you see me. Open my eyes of understanding and anoint my eyes with eye salve. I now come out from a failing system that the world has to offer me and their way of looking at success. Real success is to be in the center of Your Will always and doing things Your Way all the time. Amen”

Let God Order Your Steps Daily

In Psalm 37:23-25 it states,”The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the Lord upholdeth him with his hand.  I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging for bread.”

As we are continually led by the Holy Spirit and walking uprightly these promises from Gods Word are for you. We encourage you to walk in God’s Word and let God take care of you as you continue to do whats right in His sight and please Him. Your life will be exciting!

The Righteous Desires of Godly People are Granted

The desires of all Godly people who are in hot pursuit of the Holy Spirit with a willing mind and heart will be granted if they don’t limit themselves or God but keep receiving from the Lord.  These righteous desires are granted by God when it lines up with His will for your life. So don’t give up on yourself and on God and diligently pursue Him.

Keep God’s Word in Your Heart

The Hebrew word for meditation comes from the word hagah which means to mutter. meditation upon God’s Word means to mutter God’s Word to ourselves. Many times in the Bible, when the word meditate is mentioned, the mouth is also mentioned. God told Joshua that the book of the law was to remain in his mouth day and night. “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.” Joshua 1:8

Meditate on God’s Word

When we meditate upon God’s Word, we have to use our mouths to speak it aloud. When we read God’s Word silently, we are only using our eyes to take in God’s Word; but when we read aloud, we use our eyes to read, our mouths to speak, and our ears to hear. therefore, God’s Word will get into our spirits quicker as we speak it aloud. Psalm 77:12,”I will meditate also of all thy work, and talk of thy doings.”

Growing in This Spiritual Life

Confession is not only limited to the confession of sin but it also includes the positive confession of our faith (Heb.4:14;10:23). We are to hold fast to the confession of our faith. If we do not confess our faith, we have nothing to which we can hold fast. The development of our faith depends very much on our confession. Faith comes by hearing and hearing (spiritual hearing) by the spoken Word of God (Rom. 10:17). The same principle by which we have received spiritual life is the same principle by which we continue to grow in this spiritual life.

Fear God and Not Man

Unless a person understands the fear of the Lord as stated in the scriptures, it is impossible for that person to live to please God and not himself or others.  In Romans 8:8 is says “So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.” Also we read in Proverbs 2:5 “Then shalt thou understand the fear of the Lord, and find the knowledge of God. What is your choice today? Who and what do you esteem above God, either willfully or ignorantly, and probably, through deception?  Examine your heart and ask God to show you and choose the Fear of the Lord by Asking the Holy Spirit to help you fear God by reverencing Him, being obedient, and serving Him with all your heart.

Let God Change Your Thinking

When people go through physical, emotional, or sexual abuse they are traumatized and need healing in their spirit, soul, mind, memory and body. God said in Isaiah 43:1 “But now thus saith the Lord that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name: thou art mine.” God loves you so much and when we cast all of our cares upon Him, He said He cares for us and carries our grief and pain and lifts it off of us. We just have to give it to Him.
